Hey, I’m Jenn.

Western Days shopping, games for the kids, and a Freddy’s steakburger with frozen custard—that’s a little of my Mustang. I also love what the community center and park bring to everyday life. When you’re ready to move, I’ll help you find a home that fits your version of it.

Jenn’s local highlight: room to get out and enjoy it.

Put Wild Horse Park and the Town Center area on your first Mustang visit. The community center, recreation options and library give you reasons to come back after moving day.

START AT WILD HORSE PARK

A park break belongs on the itinerary.

Take a walk, bring a picnic and get a feel for the community around you. Wild Horse Park’s walking and biking trails make outdoor time an easy part of an exploratory visit.

Keep these on your warm-weather list. Check seasonal opening dates, admission and operating conditions before heading out.

Jenn’s take: A home search should include the places you’ll enjoy outside your front door. Mustang’s community center and park deserve a spot on that list.

Find the Mustang that fits your routine.

Use these landmarks to organize your search. We’ll compare specific addresses, drive times and services; these are exploring areas, not official neighborhood boundaries.

PUT YOUR ROUTINE FIRST

Keep the places you’ll use in mind.

Use Wild Horse Park, the recreation center and library as reference points when comparing homes. Check the actual route from each property.

WHAT WE’LL COMPARE

  • Driving and walking access to your regular stops.
  • Lot layout, outdoor space and maintenance.
  • The workday drive at your normal travel time.

Love the home. Understand the commitment.

Buying a home in Mustang starts with your priorities and a clear look at the whole cost.

YOUR MONEY

Budget beyond the payment.

Include taxes, insurance, any HOA dues, utilities and repairs. Keep closing costs, moving expenses and an emergency cushion in the conversation.

YOUR MUST-HAVES

Needs first. Wish list next.

Gas cooking? Stone exterior? A workshop? Let’s separate what you need from what you’d love, then compare the actual homes and what it would take to make them yours.

THE SECOND LOOK

Pretty paint isn’t an inspection.

We’ll consider roof and HVAC condition, drainage, windows, exterior doors and the garage door. New construction also deserves inspection and a close look at warranty terms.

Jenn’s take: I want the house to fit your life and your budget. The kitchen can have the spotlight; the inspection still gets a microphone.

Jenn’s Picks: Western Days & a custard stop.

My favorite Mustang tradition and my go-to steakburger stop. These are the little things that make getting to know a town more fun.

MY FAVORITE MUSTANG EVENT

Western Days

Western Days is a Mustang tradition I look forward to every year. I go for the shopping and the kids’ games—give me time to browse those booths!

The annual celebration also includes a parade, along with vendors, food and other activities. Check the organizer’s schedule for each year’s lineup.

MY STEAKBURGER & CUSTARD STOP

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Freddy’s is my Mustang pick for steakburgers and frozen custard. Let’s be honest: the custard was always part of the plan.

Make it a lunch stop while exploring the area, or swing by for a sweet finish to your day.

THE MUSTANG SPARK

Big sparks. Local spirit.

Fireworks are one of the things I associate with Mustang—this town knows how to celebrate. Look into the Firefighters Freedom Celebration when planning your holiday visit.

Before planning a holiday outing—or using personal fireworks—check the current event information and city requirements for your exact location.

Good questions before moving to Mustang.

Does a Mustang address guarantee Mustang Public Schools?

Verify the exact property’s current school assignment with the district. Start with the official district boundary maps, then confirm enrollment details directly.

How long is the commute from Mustang to Oklahoma City?

It depends on the home, destination, time of day and route. Test the trip during your usual work hours and account for construction or tolls on any route you choose.

Are the community center and water attractions free?

Check each facility separately. Recreation passes, programs and aquatic admission can have different fees, eligibility and seasonal schedules. The city’s Parks & Recreation department has current information.

Can I set off fireworks at a Mustang home?

Confirm the property’s jurisdiction and ask the Mustang Fire Department about current requirements, dates, times and restrictions. A mailing address or last year’s rules should not be your only guide.

Should I compare Mustang with Yukon and OKC?

Yes—compare homes using your budget, commute, condition requirements and daily routine. Explore my Yukon guide and Oklahoma City guide, then we’ll narrow your search together.

YOUR MOVE. YOUR PRIORITIES. YOUR ROCKSTAR.

Could Mustang be your next home?

Tell me what you need, what you’d love and where life takes you each day. We’ll build your Mustang home search around you.
