Moving to Piedmont? Let’s find the space—and the everyday routine—that fits you.

Old downtown character. Community celebrations. A home search that might include a neighborhood yard, newer construction, or more land to look after. Piedmont gives you plenty to consider on the northwest side of the OKC metro.

What does “more space”
mean to you?

An extra room? A different floor plan? A larger yard? Start with the life you want the property to support.

A neighborhood home

Compare the usable space, yard, parking, upkeep, and any association rules. Tour at different times so you can experience street activity and your normal routes.

Newer construction

Look closely at the actual finishes, included features, completion timeline, and builder documents. Ask what is finished now and what is still planned for the community.

A larger property

Think beyond the acreage number. Look at access, fencing, drainage, maintenance, and the space you can actually use. Confirm that any plans for a shop, animals, or another structure fit the property’s requirements.

Jenn’s take: More land can mean more possibilities—and more Saturday chores. Let’s make sure the property fits both your wish list and your willingness to maintain it.

Good questions make a better move

Before you fall
for the front porch.

Check the address

Confirm city limits, the relevant jurisdiction, and school assignment for the exact property. A mailing address and a school-district description answer different questions.

Verify the services

Ask which water, wastewater, electric, and internet services are available at that address. If a property has a private well or septic system, include the right specialists in your inspection plan.

Look ahead

Before counting on an addition, workshop, or other improvement, review the property documents and confirm applicable zoning and permit requirements with the responsible jurisdiction.

Before you make the move

Good Piedmont questions.

Is every Piedmont home on acreage?

No. Your search may include neighborhood homes, newer construction, larger lots, or acreage. We’ll compare the actual lot, home, available services, and property documents for each option.

How do I know whether the commute works?

Drive from the specific property to your regular destinations during the hours you would normally travel. Compare alternate routes, tolls, and the everyday errands you’ll make along the way.

Can I build a shop or keep animals?

That needs a property-specific answer. Confirm the jurisdiction, zoning, recorded restrictions, association rules if applicable, and any required approvals before making plans.

How do I start a Piedmont home search?

Send Jenn your budget, timing, and must-haves. Share any listings you like and what drew you to them. We’ll use those priorities to narrow the search and discuss next steps.
